What’s Happening on the Ground?
Over the past month, I’ve been hosting open houses and, to be honest, it’s been a challenging experience. Despite all the marketing efforts, I’ve seen fewer buyers than usual. In my 8 years in real estate, I’ve rarely encountered conditions like this.
Here’s what’s happening:

Slow Sales: On average, it’s taking about 35 to 55 days to sell a property, depending on the suburb in Victoria. This is longer than usual and indicates that buyers are being very cautious.

Market Challenges: Despite the current slowdown, I believe that the market will pick up again. I’m hopeful that we’ll see interest rates drop soon, which could give the property market the boost it needs.
